Most of my recent work has been triggered by observations of and responses to the Natural World, of how similar patterns and shapes recur throughout, from basic cellular forms to plant shapes to those in far vaster landscapes, and above all the effect Light has on what we see and on how we feel, and of the myriad permutations of colour it allows us to experience.

These works also explore and reflect the fleetingness of our memories, and the wealth of individual experience which inform our responses to any given moment.

These ideas are relevant to how we respond to all of Nature, and to life's transcience, referring to the continual ebb and flow between the conscious and unconscious in our every day lives.

Chloe has also illustrated several books. She takes Commissions which have included working for the Royal Parks (designing deck chair and bag), and making site specific works for private clients e.g. :painted shutters relating to "Kew-Focussing In", for a private London Home, and a series of gouaches for COLLETT- ZARZYCKI Ltd.
Her 2007 show at the Curwen Gallery was the result of her spending a year (2005-2006) visiting Kew Gardens twice a month. The very large wall piece in that show was sold in 12 panels to private Dutch collectors in 2009.
In 2012 Jenny Blyth FIne Art procured her the commission to spend a year responding to the Oxford Botanic Gardens, and then exhibiting the outcome with them. This wonderful experience culminated in a successful show at the O.B.Gardens in the Spring of 2013.
In 2013 she was invited to visit and respond to Highgreen Manor, a lovely home set within the beautiful Northumberland National Park, over a year (visiting every 3 months). The resulting works will be exhibited there in October 2015.
